High-purity ferrosilicon or low-aluminum ferrosilicon is a product that impurities such as aluminum, calcium, phosphorus, sulfur, etc. have been reduced as much as possible.  Low-aluminum ferrosilicon is used in making sensitive steel parts such as bearings, tool steel, spring steel, etc .

The presence of impurities such as aluminum does not cause major problems for general use, while in special uses, even in small amounts, it leaves severe effects.

Considering that we are in a situation where other countries have the largest global production of ferrosilicon , the requirement for the survival and sustainability of ferrosilicon producing companies is to move towards the production of high quality product with low aluminum content.
